Arne Bishop

Principal Ecologist

Arne has over 19 years’ experience in the environmental sector. Arne’s current and previous roles have provided him with an extensive knowledge of a plethora of exotic and endemic NSW flora, fauna, ecological communities and migratory species. He conducts ecological impact assessments and monitoring programs on a daily basis, which aim to identify appropriate performance indicators for monitoring and managing potential impacts upon threatened entities through Trigger Action Response Plans. Threatened entities include; threatened flora, fauna, populations and communities listed under the Commonwealth Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act) and/or Biodiversity Conservation Act 2016 (BC Act).
Arne is an accredited person under the Biodiversity Assessment Methodology (BAM). Prior to the introduction of the BAM, Arne was a BioBanking Assessor and has conducted BioBanking assessments for Major Projects (State Significant Infrastructure and State Significant Developments) under the Framework for Biodiversity Assessment (OEH 2014) and assessments for smaller developments under the BioBanking Assessment Methodology (OEH 2014). He has also conducts EPBC offset calculations under the EPBC Act Environmental Offsets Policy (SEWPAC 2012).

  • Brea Heidke - Team Leader/Ecologist

    Brea is a highly motivated, knowledgable ecologist who loves spending time in the bush. She has experience in environmental monitoring and management including weed management and conducting vegetation surveys.

    Brea has extensive experience with amphibians recently investigating the impacts of bushfire on recovery rates. She has an astute attention to detail and a positive attitude to all tasks. She enjoys challenging herself particularly in areas of plant identification and vegetation validation.

    Brea is passionate Ecologist and is an asset to the EcoResolve Ecology Team.

  • Patrick McEvoy - Senior Ecologist

    Patrick is an experienced ecologist who has worked on projects large and small across NSW. He is an Accredited Assessor (BAAS20018) with experience preparing numerous assessments under the NSW Biodiversity Offsets Scheme. He has prepared Biodiversity Development Assessment Reports (BDARs) and Biodiversity Stewardship Site Assessment Report (BSSAR) applications and is proficient in project scoping, field survey planning and implementation, Biodiversity Assessment Method (BAM 2020) data handling and writing high quality compliant reports. Offsetting is one of Patrick’s specialities and he was a member of Niche Environment and Heritage’s Inland Rail offsetting team.

    Patrick brings broad flora and fauna survey experience to his projects.
